A Reed Cormorant (Microcarbo africanus), also known as the long-tailed cormorant, perches over a waterway, Okavango Delta, Botswana.
Very little needs to be explained here, the shot is almost straight out of the camera. A slight crop, very slight adjustments to contrast and colour saturation, copyright reminder, sharpening and conversion to jpeg for Internet display, done. Total processing time 2 to 3 minutes at most.
